  • You will be attacked when you speak the truth in Christ. Speak it anyway.

I will not be responding to the vicious insults being posted about me on the internet nor will we continue to revisit the same lies said over and over again. I am a frail human being, like any other and to the extent I have let my emotions get the best of me, I have repented and gone to confession. Those who use a reminder of yesterday's outburst as a foil to avoid the consequences of today's disagreement are merely proving what we all know- that the facts are not on their side. In the end, that's what this is all about. It's not about my internet persona against another, it's about the truth of Jesus and the joy He brings to a troubled soul. Last night, for a few brief moments, I experienced a deep consolation of that joy. After receiving Our Blessed Lord, in the Holy Eucharist, I was filled with a warmth and consolation and deep peace. Profoundly undeserved. Profoundly needed. Profoundly appreciated. I confess, once again, that I have let my anger get the best of me and said some very hateful things that I regret with deep, deep sorrow. I have apologized to the offended persons and confessed them to My Savior through the Sacrament of Confession. I will not be pulled down into that mud pit again. The person in question was invited into the Apostolate that I created more than a year before I ever met him and he now vacillates between claims that he either created it or co-created it. Like his father, the truth is not in him and the continued internal conflict of his conscience vs his pride is wrecking his health. I now cannot even be angry with him. I really feel sorry for him. The man who once unceremoniously invited me to enter the octagon with him, because he couldn't defend his position with facts, now has the temerity to call me an internet bully. With all the sincerity in my being, I am filled with deep sorrow at how a man who was once my friend has become so imprisoned by his own arrogance that he is using his very much less-than-capable surrogates to attack me rather than deal with the very serious medical issues he is facing that should be humbling Him before A Mighty God. I will continue to speak the truth. A very high volume of what he is putting out includes attacks on Bishops and the legitimate authority of the church, open promotion of multitudinous condemned events and outright lies and calumny. If it were not so, I would never have left. Nevertheless, I am going to ask all of you to pray for him. I asked for the Divine Physician's healing touch on him and that he be restored to full vigor and health to his family. I will also ask that you pray that he understands who his real enemy is- Satan. Even when I spoke the truth with no charity- much to my own discredit- it was still the truth. This man thinks that the brother who corrects him in fraternal charity is the enemy and that's how this started. Years ago, it started with Ross Earl Hoffman who correctly observed that a Catholic Apostolate cannot be endorsing torture and that waterboarding is torture. Much to my shame, I admit it took my a while to understand Ross was right. It came later when some of us dared to suggest that there were far better Republican (and Catholic) options than Donald Trump as the GOP nominee. Time has borne that out as well. Trump's significant lack of political skill, coupled with his oversized ego resulted in him getting totally rolled by the Democrats into shutting our entire economy down. That rash decision set the stage for the election theft that now has Joe Biden in power. Despite his very significant business skill, Trump simply was not the right man for the job. Nevertheless, I don't fault my former friend for backing him from jump but for so viciously attacking anyone who didn't. Next, it started with the buffoonery of a partner of the show that was promoting every single claim of a vision of Mary or Divinely dictated poetry as Catholic dogmatic fact. This was even true for events that Bishops and the Vatican had publicly condemned multiple times- Amsterdam Garabandal Medjugorje etc.... My very reasonable position asserted that we should: by all means, promote the approved ones. Proceed with extreme caution on the pending ones. Show absolute deference and obedience with regard to those condemned. His response? 8 consecutive weeks covering an event that has been condemned by 23 Bishops and approved by exactly nobody. That's when I knew I had to move on. That is what I'm doing here- moving on. I ask you, in the deepest Christian charity, to hold this man up in your prayers. Ask God to heal him of his medical condition, restore him to his family, break the scales from his eyes and restore him to his first love- serving God and fighting the real enemy.

  • Nefarious, the movie- a review

I spent the nearly 20 minute return trip from the theatre pondering exactly what was the reason that Nefarious left me somewhat disappointed. I thought at first that it was because it is a very short list of movies over the years that overwhelmed me. Certainly, The Passion of the Christ was one, United 93 another. Maybe I am too hard to impress. Then again, maybe it was that I set expectations too high, given the lofty reviews. One noted Catholic blogger gave it 10 stars out of 10. I became even more perplexed at my own disappointment when I examined the main conflict explored which is one I have championed for years and one at the forefront of our apostolate. That theme is how atheism has so taken over the psychiatric profession that 2 of the 4 persons (the spiritual and emotional) that make up a human, are treated as non-existent. In the plot line, the Psychiatrist simply cannot accept the possibility that some of these people who claim to be possessed/obsessed/influenced by demons, really are. I keep circling back to one real-world example that happened some 5 years ago that can be seen in this actual video of the arrest of a person that just killed 17 people. How anyone can look at what this person did and dismiss the idea of the demonic is beyond me. Then it hit me. That's why I was disappointed. It's not that the movie didn't explore a much needed theme- it sure did. It also is not that the acting of Sean Patrick Flannery as the killer, wasn't as brilliant as was advertised- it was. The movie made me feel disappointed in the way I am disappointed when a debater with a slam dunk case, loses in style points due to a flat delivery. The characters, themes and plot were too underdeveloped and the movie left me wanting much more. A critically important message delivered with a half-hearted effort. 5 stars out of 10.

  • Why Do Modern Protestants Deny the Priesthood. Luke Haskell

One of the Catholic articles of faith most Protestants have to vehemently deny is a New Covenant ordained priesthood. If they say there is no ordained priesthood then it makes it easier to be in non servium to the religion and ritual that is all across the New Testament that God established as part of our process of transforming grace through obedience to the faith. If they say there is no ordained priesthood then it is easier to deny Gods words, " This is my body", and " do this in memory of me." If there is no priesthood then there can be no consecration of the Eucharist. Inadvertently what they do not understand is that if there was no priesthood then there would be no salvation. The consecrated Eucharist is what is presented before the Father through Jesus Christ our mediator of the New Covenant, as the true Passover for the general redemption of the world. Satan has people who call themselves Christians, attacking their own salvation. Satan has preternatural intelligence. He makes Freud look like a kindergartner. In the early church the way, was not a name, but was the narrow road of obedience to the faith in the sacramental life which among other things, keeps us from Satan's preternatural deceptions. Modern Protestantism says there is only a priesthood of all believers while scripture shows an office with distinct functions for a priest. They falsely interpret Hebrews where Paul talks about our high priest Jesus Christ. If there is a high priest then there is a subordinate priesthood. There is the chosen people, the holy nation , the Royal Priesthood we are baptized into and there is the office of priest inside the Royal Priesthood. Elder and presbyter are in the etymology of priest. Hiereus means someone dedicated to the temple, a priest, but the word priest is not derived phonetically nor etymologically from Hiereus, it is derived from presbyteros in which the shortened form of the word is priest. When Peter refers to those who were baptized into the church entering the promise of Abraham fulfilled as the chosen people, the holy nation, the royal priesthood, he uses the word Herius meaning belonging to the temple which is the body of Christ. Inside the body is the leaders ; presbyteros. First, try and remove false preconceptions from your thinking and see the function of priest in the New Testament. This is why I left you in Crete, to ordain—— in every city as I have ordained you. Titus 1:5 Let the—— who rules well be worthy of double honor especially those who labor in the word and doctrine.  1 Tim 5:17 Is any man sick among you? Let him bring in the —— of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. 15And the prayer of faith shall save the sick man: and the Lord shall raise him up: and if he be in sins, they shall be forgiven him. Jm 5:13 That I should be the —— of Christ Jesus among the Gentiles; sanctifying the gospel of God, that the oblation of the Gentiles may be made acceptable and sanctified in the Holy Ghost. Rm 15:16 Receive the Holy Spirit whose sins you shall forgive are forgiven. Jn 20:19 The chalice of benediction, which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ ? And the bread, which we break, is it not the partaking of the body of the Lord ? 1 Cor 2:16 God after establishing the Passover for the Jewish community, came to a Passover 1300 years later and said, "I strongly desire to celebrate this Passover with you". This is so amazing! And yet God established the true Passover for the general redemption of the world and Satan has the world rejecting it by rejecting His priesthood. Do this in memory of me. “The Apostles and early believers recognized the sacrificial character of Jesus' instruction, "Do this in remembrance (Gr. anamnasin) of me" is better translated "Offer this as my memorial sacrifice." Anamnesis ("remembrance") has sacrificial overtones. It occurs only eight times in the NT and the Greek OT. All but once (Wisdom 16:6) it is in a sacrificial context (Hebrews 10:3, Leviticus 24:7, Numbers 10:10 and Psalm 38 [39] and 70 [70]). In these cases the term anamnesis can be translated as "memorial portion," "memorial offering," or "memorial sacrifice." Thus in the remaining two occurrences of anamnesis (Luke 22:19; 1 Corinthians 11:24), Christ’s words "Do this inremembrance of Me," can be translated as "Offer this for my memorial sacrifice." The types are fulfilled in the heavenly reality of the Eucharist. I have not come to abolish the law but to fulfill the law. And thou shalt put upon them the dearest frankincense, that the bread may be for a memorial of the oblation of the Lord. Leviticus 24:7 If at any time you shall have a banquet, end on your festival days, and on the first days of your months, you shall sound the trumpets over t he holocausts, and the sacrifices of peace offerings, that they may be to you for a remembrance of your God. I am the Lord your God. Numbers 10:10 Future fulfillment in the Eucharist. For from the rising of the sun even to the going down, my name is great among the Gentiles, and in every place there is sacrifice, and there is offered to my name a clean oblation: for my name is great among the Gentiles, saith the Lord of hosts. Malachi 1:11 The apostles wrote while the temple was still standing and needed to distinguish the difference between the priests of the Old Covenant that offered bulls and goats and the priesthood of the new that ministered in the sacraments. It looks like they did so by modeling the priesthood according to the 70 elders who had the hands of Moses laid on them to convey the grace of God as Bishops have done to priests since the beginning of Christianity. Paul told Timothy, “ Do not lay your hands on anyone in haste.” In other words, try and make sure they are going to be worthy of the priesthood. The word priest is not derived etymologically nor morphologically from Hiereus. It is derived from presbyteros. This is why I left you in Crete, that you ordain elders/ presbyters/ presbyteros, in ever city, as I have appointed you. Titus 1:5 Here Paul is writing to the bishop of Crete who would lay his hands on those entering the priesthood as Timothy did also. As bishops of the Catholic Church have done for 2000 years. Paul ordained both Titus and Timothy to do so. 17Let the priests that rule well be esteemed worthy of double honour: especially they who labour in the word and doctrine. 18For the scripture saith: Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn: and, The labourer is worthy of his reward. 19Against a priest receive not an accusation, but under two or three witnesses. 20Them that sin reprove before all that the rest also may have fear. 21I charge thee, before God and Christ Jesus and the elect angels, that thou observe these things without prejudice, doing nothing by declining to either side. 22Impose not hands lightly upon any man, neither be partaker of other men's sins. Keep thyself chaste. 1 Tim 5:17-22 DRB There is an evolution of the word presbyter or elder in the Bible that led from the formation of the 70 elders established by Moses to the Catholic priesthood. “Word Study Elders ( Jas 5:14) Presbyteros (Gk.): an "elder", "elderly man", or "presbyter". The word is used 66 times in the NT. It has its primary background in the OT and Jewish tradition, where "elders" (Heb., zeqenim) referred to the tribal leaders of Israel appointed by Moses (Ex 24:1; Num 11:16) and to the members of a city's judicial council (Josh 20:4). By the first century, it was a collective name for Pharisaic teachers (Mt 15:2), for a group within the Jewish high court, the Sanhedrin (Mt 26:3), and for the senior officials of a Jewish synagogue. This notion of ruling and religious elders carried over into Christian tradition and was applied to its own appointed leaders (Acts 14:23 ; 15:2; 20:17; 21:18). An "elder" or "presbyter" thus came to refer to an ordained shepherd of the Church who preached the gospel and administered the sacraments (1 Tim 5:17; Tit 1:5; Jas 5:14). The English word "priest" is derived from this Greek term.” Priest is not derived etymologically nor morphologicaly from Hiereus, it comes from presbyteros. From the earliest days of Christianity there were priests consecrating the Eucharist and leading the church. Bishops were overseers and priests . Priests who were not bishops were under the direction of bishops. Teachings of the Apostles Syriac The city of Rome, and all Italy, and Spa in, and Britain, and Gaul, together with all the rest of the countries round about them, received the apostles' ordination to the priesthood from Simon Cephas, who went up from Antioch Teachings of the Apostles Syriac And by ordination to the priesthood, which the apostles themselves had received from our Lord, did their Gospel wing its way rapidly into the four quarters of the world. Irenaeus of Lyons Book 4 ch 8.3 (120-180 ad) And all the apostles of the Lord are priests, who do inherit here neither lands nor houses, but serve God and the altar continually. The Didache(c. 70 A.D.) But concerning the Eucharist, after this fashion give ye thanks. First, concerning the cup. We thank thee, o ur Father, for the holy vine, David thy Son, which thou hast made known unto us through Jesus Christ thy Son; to thee be the glory for ever. And concerning the broken bread. We thank thee, our Father, for the life and knowledge which thou hast made known unto us through Jesus thy Son; to thee be the glory for ever. As this broken bread was once scattered on the mountains, and after it had been brought together became one, so may thy Church be gathered together from the ends of the earth unto thy kingdom; for thine is the glory, and the power, through Jesus Christ, for ever. And let none eat or drink of your Eucharist but such as have been baptized into the name of the Lord, for of a truth the Lord hath said concerning this, Give not that which is holy unto dogs. ( 9:1-5) On the Lord's Day of the Lord gather together, break bread and give thanks, after confessing your transgressions SO THAT YOUR SACRIFICE MAY BE PURE. Let no one who has a quarrel with his neighbor join you until he is reconciled by the Lord: "In every place and time let there be OFFERED TO ME A CLEAN SACRIFICE. For I am Great King," says the Lord, "and My name is wonderful among the Gentiles." (14:1-2) St. Ignatius of Antioch (c. 110 A.D.) I have no taste for corruptible food nor for the pleasures of this life. I desire the Bread of God, WHICH IS THE FLESH OF JESUS CHRIST, who was of the seed of David; and for drink I DESIRE HIS BLOOD, which is love incorruptible. (Letter to the Romans 7:3) Take care, then, to use one Eucharis t, so that whatever you do, you do according to God: FOR THERE IS ONE FLESH OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, and one cup IN THE UNION OF HIS BLOOD; one ALTAR, as there is one bishop with the presbytery… (Letter to the Philadelphians 4:1) They [i.e. the Gnostics] abstain from the Eucharist and from prayer, because they do not confess that THE EUCHARIST IS THE FLESH OF OUR SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST, flesh which suffered for our sins and which the Father, in his goodness, raised up again. (Letter to Smyrnians 7:1) St. Justin the Martyr (c. 100 - 165 A.D.) We call this food Eucharist; and no one else is permitted to partake of it, except one who believes our teaching to be true and who has been washed in the washing which is for the remission of sins and for regeneration [Baptism], and is thereby living as Christ has enjoined. For not as common bread nor common drink do we receive these; but since Jesus Christ our Savior was made incarnate by the word of God and had both flesh and blood for our salvation, so too, as we have been taught, the food which has been made into the Eucharist by the Eucharistic prayer set down by Him, AND BY THE CHANGE OF WHICH our blood and flesh is nourished, IS BOTH THE FLESH AND THE BLOOD OF THAT INCARNATED JESUS. (First Apology, 66) Moreover, as I said before, concerning the sacrifices which you at that time offered, God speaks through Malachi [1:10-12]…It is of the SACRIFICES OFFERED TO HIM IN EVERY PLACE BY US, the Gentiles, that is, OF THE BREAD OF THE EUCHARIST AND LIKEWISE OF THE CUP OF THE EUCHARIST, that He speaks at that time; and He says that we glorify His name, while you profane it. (Dialogue with Trypho, 41) Did Paul perform a priestly function of sanctifying an oblation through the Holy Spirit? That I should be the minister of Christ Jesus among the Gentiles; sanctifying the gospel of God, that the oblation of the Gentiles may be made acceptable and sanctified in the Holy Ghost. Rm 15:16 DRB Berean Study Bible to be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles in the priestly service of the gospel of God World English Bible that I should be a servant of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles, serving as a priest the Good News of God Young's Literal Translation for my being a servant of Jesus Christ to the nations, acting as priest in the good news of God Mystery, mysterion, sacramentum, sacrament. Mal 1:11 Did the early church believe that the apostles were priests ? I think the evidence is indisputable And when they had preached the gospel to that city and had taught many, they returned again to Lystra and to Iconium and to Antioch: 22{21}Confirming the souls of the disciples and exhorting them to continue in the faith: and that through many tribulations we must enter into the kingdom of God. 23{22}And when they had ordained to them priests in every church and had prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord, in whom they believed Acts 14:21 DRB

  • HOW DID THE APOSTLES UNDERSTAND FAITH? Luke Haskell

WHAT IS FAITH? The apostles were Jews who never understood belief outside of living in obedience to the faith in a covenant relationship with God. Should we accept the word faith as it is understood in our modern world or should we look at how the concept of belief was understood by the apostles? If we do not understand it as the apostles did then we do not have the foundation of faith established by God. What the apostles lived and what modern Christianity believes is not the same thing. From the word faith, comes the foundation of Christianity. It is also the foundation of a huge problem when it comes to living as Christ enjoined. The word faith was developed around the same time that we moved from middle English to modern English. It was also developed at around the same time as the Reformation; the development of Protestantism. The word may be a product of the Reformation. Someone with the objective of removing its true meaning may have changed it. At the time of the apostles, the concept of belief was expressed in the words, “Fide” in Latin and “Pistis” in Greek. These words mean, “I believe”, But, they do not mean “I believe,” as modern Christianity understands them. The modern word “Faith” is a noun. The words “Fide” and “Pistis” were for the most part, in the early church, expressed as verbs of action. They express not a noun of simply intellection ascent but an active, living, obedient, committed, beloved faith, in God through his church. Both of the words “Fide” and “Works”, were associated with works. We are discussing two different types of belief: Intellectual ascent or a faith that requires action on our part which is often confused with good works of our own. Let us first put to rest this idea that we can achieve merit before God with works of our own. We cannot create efficacious works on our own. Only God is good. We are saved by grace because, as opposed to the mosaic law of rule, fear, and temporal punishment for not following the law for Jews only, through the grace of God, we are able to perform works in unconditional love. Not our works, but God working through us in active faith. By way of the cross, the Holy Spirit came into the world and wrote the eternal laws of love on our hearts, our conscience. This in some ways is a new heaven and a new earth. It is moving toward the eternal reality. Paul tells us, “And this is the testament which I will make unto them after those days, saith the Lord. I will give my laws in their hearts, and on their minds will I write them:” (Hebrews 10:16) Laws are meant to be followed. This is the law of love as opposed to the Mosaic Law followed as rule, fear and, punishment for not following the law administered by the Jewish authority. “A man or a woman who is a medium or a necromancer shall surely be put to death. They shall be stoned with stones; their blood shall be upon them.” (Leviticus 20:27) From the beginning of Christianity the words, “to believe” meant to “hold dear, to commit to, to beloved.” The German equivalent is the word “belieben” which means “give allegiance to.” “Etymologically, “believe” is related to a broad range of familiar words, some archaic, like life (dear, willing), some still in use, like “beloved,” and “love”. The history of “believe” in its various forms----ranging from Old English be loef to the early modern English synonym “beloved”, through the seventeenth- century misspelling that gave us “believe” instead of “beleeve”---is a chronicle of its gradual change in meaning…In the fourteenth century, about the time of John Wycliffe (1330-1384), important changes began to take place that mark the transition from Middle English to Modern English. A new word, “faith,” was coming into use as the English form of the Latin Fides. Early evidence of the transition can be seen in two versions of the English Bible attributed to Wycliffe, both based on the Latin Vulgate. In the first, bilefe translates fides, whereas in the second, “faith” appears in a number of places. By the seventeenth century the transition was virtually complete. The 1611 King James Authorized Version used the word “faith” 246 times, while using “belief” only once. The Oxford English Dictionary, which describes this evolution (s.v. belief), states, …the word faith, though being through O[ld] F[rench] fei, faith, the etymological representative of the L[atin fides, it began in the 14th c[entury] to be used to translate the latter, and in course of time almost superseded “belief” esp[ecially] in theological language, leaving ‘belief” in great measure to merely intellectual process or state…Thus “belief in God” no longer means as much as “faith in God”. Marthaler The Creed There is no verb form for the word faith in modern English. Our creed is a true article of faith because it is what was lived, acted on. “The idea of commitment, it should be noted, is also at the root memory of the original Latin. Etymologically, credo, it seems, is a compound of two other Latin words, cor, cordis, “heart” (as in the English derivatives “cordial, “concord”, and “accord”) …The primary meaning of credo in classical Latin was to “entrust”, to commit”. Paul called us to obedience to the faith which is a living and active faith. The word obedience would not have been used by Paul unless he saw “believe” as a verb. IBID We can see how this is true by understanding the opposite of belief. For God so loved the world, as to give his only begotten Son; that whosoever believeth in him, may not perish, but may have life everlasting. John 3:16 What does it mean to believe if Paul says it is his job to bring about obedience to the faith and Christ says, “ not everyone who says Lord Lord will enter the kingdom of heaven accept those who do the will of my Father? What does it mean to believe if the apostles did not understand belief outside of a covenant relationship and Christ said , this is my blood of the New Covenant, do this? Raising this sacrament of the liturgy of the Eucharist to a command for Christianity? An article of belief in Christianity? John 3:16. This is a summation of belief. John 3:16 is referring to living obedience to the faith of the New Covenant. To not believe is disobedience/ apiethe. To not live in the mosaic law was disobedience why would you think it would be any different in the New Covenant? Here are a few Greek dictionary entries for this word apeithe? Rom. 11:30. “ To believe” is the opposite in Acts 14:1–2, and unbelief is parallel. We find an absolute use in Acts 14:2. Rom. 15:31; 1 Pet. 2:7. Important phrases are disobeying the word (1 Pet. 2:8), the gospel (4:17), and the Son (Jn. 3:36). (Gerhard Kittel, Gerhard Friedrich, and Geoffrey William Bromiley, Theological Dictionary of the New Testament (Grand Rapids, MI: W.B. Eerdmans, 1985), 819–820.)******************************************* Disobeys occurs only here in John’s Gospel; it is obviously the opposite of believes, and so JB and Phps translate “refuses to believe.” It is possible to argue that the meaning of disobeys throws some light on the meaning of believes, that is, this kind of belief is the belief which leads to obedience. Therefore one may translate “Whoever obeys the Son has eternal life, and whoever disobeys the Son will never have life.” However, it is better to retain the terms “believes” and “disobeys,” since the very lack of clear opposition tends to reinforce the meaning of the respective terms”. • The Diabolical Deception of The Born Again Movement. Luke Haskell

In the process of separating from the Catholic Church, Protestants separated from the deep spiritual realities of the true nature of being being born again. I do not say this to ridicule. I say this because there is no true unity when there is no real expression of truth. " Father I pray that they may be one, as you and I are one, so that the world may know that you have sent me." Jn 17:21 Of course being born again for those of the age of reason takes the grace of the Holy Spirit to experience the love of Christ at its foundation, yet this is just the beginning of the true nature of being born again and you must see born again through the life of the first century church in order to truly understand it. You also can’t separate reason from scripture interpretation. Place your mind in the first century church. If Paul thought his epistles conveyed a complete understanding of specific articles of faith, then Paul would be doing a lousy job. Paul is writing to churches he stayed with, raised up, developed with Bishops, priests and deacons. These are people he taught the faith to for up to three years at a time. To Titus the Bishop of Crete he writes: "For this cause I left thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting, and shouldest ordain priests in every city, as I also appointed thee" Titus 1:5 DRB To the church at Corinth he says: The chalice of benediction, which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ ? And the bread, which we break, is it not the partaking of the body of the Lord ? 1 Cor 10:16 DRB The church At Corinth is already supposed to know what Paul is talking about. Does scripture give details about who specifically is allowed to bless the cup? What prayers are said in the benediction? What is the proper process of the blessing? Who is allowed to partake of the cup? What must they go through in order to partake? What types of baptism are acceptable and which are not? Pouring, sprinkling, immersion? No it does not. It's not designed to. If I stayed with you for a year and taught you how to build a house, if I then went on my way and later I heard there was a problem with the wiring of the house. Would I write to you in my letter going back over the entire project or just the wiring? I would only find it necessary to go back over only the problem at hand. This is the nature of the epistles. This is why Protestants can't see baptism in verses like, Roman's 10:3 where calling on the name of the Lord was part of the repentance and acknowledgment process in the baptism ritual since the beginning of Christianity. They can't see baptism when Paul refers to how we were saved by blood and spirit. Baptism is being saved by the blood of the Lamb. They do not understand how baptism destroys the past sins including original and there is something different in the sacramental life, " the way" , for the removal of future sins. Being justified freely by his grace, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 25Whom God hath proposed to be a propitiation, through faith in his blood, to the shewing of his justice, for the remission of former sins ( past) Romans 3:24 The spiritual nature of how the blood saves was in the heart of the church from its earliest days. It was in the mysteries of type and heavenly realities. One of the clearest vision of this is the mystery of the Red Heifer. Every one that toucheth the corpse of a man, and is not sprinkled with mixture, shall profane the tabernacle of the Lord, and shall perish out of Israel: (And on that day I will rebuild the tabernacle of David which has fallen down. You have come to Mount Zion to the New Jerusalem. Peter you are rock…)  because he was not sprinkled with the water of expiation, he shall be unclean, and his uncleanness shall remain upon him…(Baptism now saves you) 17 And they shall take of the ashes of the burning and of the sin offering, and shall POUR LIVING WATERS upon them into a vessel.18 And a man that is clean shall dip hyssop in them, and shall sprinkle therewith all the tent, and all the furniture, and the men that are defiled with touching any such thing:19 And in this manner he that is clean shall purify the unclean on the third and on the seventh day. And being expiated the seventh day, he shall wash both himself and his garments, and be unclean until the evening.20 IF ANY MAN BE NOT EXPIATED AFTER THIS RITE, HIS SOUL SHALL PERISH OUT OF THE MIDST OF THE CHURCH: because he hath profaned the sanctuary of the Lord, and was not sprinkled with the water of purification.21( Wear your wedding garment or there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth)   THIS PRECEPT SHALL BE AN ORDINANCE FOR EVER. He also that sprinkled the water, shall wash his garments. Numbers 19 Purged of past sins not future ones. On the narrow road of the " way" of transformation grace, future ones are left to a practice of humility. "He said therefore to them again: Peace be to you. As the Father hath sent me, I also send you. 22When he had said this, he breathed on them; and he said to them: Receive ye the Holy Ghost. 23Whose sins you shall forgive, they are forgiven them: and whose sins you shall retain, they are retained.Jn 20:21. Sins cannot be retained unless they are first confessed. "Concerning the teachings of the Church, whether publicly proclaimed (kerygmata) or reserved to members of the household of faith (dogmata), we have received some from written sources, while others have been given to us secretly, through apostolic tradition. Both sources have equal force in true religion. No one would deny either source—no one, at any rate, who is even slightly familiar with the ordinances of the Church. If we attacked unwritten customs, claiming them to be of little importance, we would fatally mutilate the Gospel, no matter what our intentions—or rather, we would reduce the Gospel teachings to bare words." Saint Basil. But the sensual man perceiveth not these things that are of the Spirit of God; for it is foolishness to him, and he cannot understand, because it is spiritually examined. 1 Cor 2:14 Again we see from Peter this destruction of past sins. 8For if these things be with you and abound, they will make you to be neither empty nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9For he that hath not these things with him is blind and groping, having forgotten that he was (purged from “his old sins. “) 2 Peter 1 Paul does not need to use the word baptism and born again every time he describes the effect of baptism which was always being born again, to those who were baptized into the church. They lived with him for up to three years and he is reminding them of the effects of their baptism into the church. No one entered the church or participated in the Eucharist until they were baptized. These mysteries were in the heart of the church due to persecution and sacredness. They were not spelled out in scripture in the epistles as if the epistles were a catechism of faith. They are not. What did Christ mean when he said do not give what is holy to the dogs? The passage does not describe His intent. He was referring to the Eucharist. During the times of the apostles and before, dogs ran in packs and were considered vile creatures. It was sacrilegious to give to the Dogs what was sacrificed on the altar in the temple. Pigs had no use for pearls of great wisdom. Those sacrifices were types for Christ. Do not give " that which is holy". "That which is holy.—The words point to the flesh which has been offered for sacrifice, the “holy thing” of Leviticus 22:6-7; Leviticus 22:10;Leviticus 22:16, of which no un clean person or stranger, and à fortiori no unclean beast, was to eat. To give that holy flesh to dogs would have seemed to the devout Israelite the greatest of all profanations." Unclean is fulfilled in unbaptized. Clean refers to baptism into Gods church which the disciples of the apostles referred to as among other things regeneration through the true bronze laver. In Titus 3 Paul says we are saved by the laver. The laver which was in front of the Holies. The veil into the holies represents the flesh of Christ and the church, Christ's bride. "The flesh is washed the flesh is sanctified." What did Christ mean when He said , Do not give what is holy to the dogs"? Scripture does not give you the answer.  Does the Didache written 30 years before the death of John? Chapter 9. The Thanksgiving (Eucharist) Now concerning the Thanksgiving (Eucharist), thus give thanks. First, concerning the cup: We thank you, our Father, for the holy vine of David Your servant, which You made known to us through Jesus Your Servant; to You be the glory for ever. And concerning the broken bread: We thank You, our Father, for the life and knowledge which You made known to us through Jesus Your Servant; to You be the glory for ever. Even as this broken bread was scattered over the hills, and was gathered together and became one, so let Your Church be gathered together from the ends of the earth into Your kingdom; for Yours is the glory and the power through Jesus Christ for ever. But let no one eat or drink of your Thanksgiving (Eucharist), but they who have been baptized into the name of the Lord; for concerning this also the Lord has said, Give not that which is holy to the dogs. Matthew 7:6 Pauls epistles are letters only addressing what was pressing on his mind at the time to those who were already born again, redeemed, justified by being purged of past sins by receiving the grace given freely of baptism. He is addressing people who he already taught the faith, to who were living in obedience to the faith. From the beginning of Christianity the church taught that the gifts of baptism were redemption, regeneration, justification, entrance into the promise of Abraham fulfilled as the chosen people, the Holy Nation, the Royal Priesthood that have put on their wedding garments so that they could participate with the hosts of heaven in the true Passover for the general redemption of the world. Baptism is spiritual preparation for the soul so that it could be united to heaven in the beatific vision of the Holy Mass. 2But you are come to mount Sion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to the company of many thousands of angels, 23And to the church of the firstborn who are written in the heavens, and to God the judge of all, and to the spirits of the just made perfect, 24And to Jesus the mediator of the new testament, and to the sprinkling of blood which speaketh better than that of Abel. 25See that you refuse him not that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spoke upon earth, much more shall not we that turn away from him that speaketh to us from heaven. Hb 12:22-25 Paul stayed with communities for up to three years, teaching them the faith, establishing churches that would baptize. Another example is the failure of exegesis Protestants fall into in Titus 3:5. Again, this is baptism, being born again, without the word baptism. Titus who was ordained by Paul knows it's a deep mystery of baptism. We were not saved from past sins which includes original sin, through our own justices but through the grace given freely of the laver of regeneration ( the Levitical Priests needed to wash in the the laver before entering the veil) or as modern versions say, bath of rebirth. 17And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: 18Thou shalt make also a brazen laver with its foot to wash in: and thou shalt set it between the tabernacle of the testimony and the altar. And water being put into it: 19Aaron and his sons shall wash their hands and feet in it: 20When they are going into the tabernacle of the testimony, and when they are to come to the altar, to offer on it incense to the Lord, 21Lest perhaps they die. Ex 30:17-21 Lest perhaps you die. Unless you are born again of water and spirit you shall not enter the kingdom of God? If the kingdom of heaven has weeds in the wheat planted by Satan, then where is this kingdom? It's the one sacramental church God established through His blood. Douay-Rheims Bible Not by the works of justice, which we have done, but according to his mercy, he saved us, by the laver of regeneration, and renovation of the Holy Ghost; English Revised Version not by works done in righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Ghost, It’s obvious that this washing that regenerates is baptism. In this washing is the purging of past sins? Is purging of past sins being part of being born again? I think this is obvious. 8For if these things be with you and abound, they will make you to be neither empty nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9For he that hath not these things with him is blind and groping, having forgotten that he was (purged from “his old sins. “) 2 Peter 1 So what happens after the Levitical priests wash in the Laver ?( are purified) They enter the veil or sacrifice at the altar. We are redeemed into the veil, the flesh of Christ. 19Having therefore, brethren, a confidence in the entering into the holies by the blood of Christ: 20A new and living way which he hath dedicated for us through the veil, that is to say, his flesh: 21And a high priest over the house of God: 22Let us draw near with a true heart, in fulness of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies (washed with clean water.) Hb 19:19 Repent and be baptized for the remission of your sins for the promise is for you and for your children. Is becoming a member of the family of God by way of the promise of Abraham fulfilled, part of being “ born again”? Of course it is. Not as though the word of God hath miscarried. For all are not Israelites that are of Israel. 7Neither are all they that are the seed of Abraham, children: but in Isaac shall thy seed be called. 8That is to say, not they that are the children of the flesh are the children of God: but they that are the children of the (promise) are accounted for the seed. Romans 9:6 Is being divinized so that we can, as the body of Christ with Christ as the head of the body and mediator, offer the true Passover for the sins of the world to the Father with the hosts of heaven, part of being born again in the promise of Abraham fulfilled? Of course. 3As all things of his divine power which appertain to life and godliness are given us through the knowledge of him who hath called us by his own proper glory and virtue. 4By whom he hath given us most great and precious (promises:) that by these you may be made partakers of the divine nature. 2 Peter 1:3 26For you are all the children of God, by faith in Christ Jesus. 27For as many of you as have been baptized in Christ have put on Christ. 28There is neither Jew nor Greek: there is neither bond nor free: there is neither male nor female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29And if you be Christ's, then are you the seed of Abraham, heirs according to the (promise.) Everything above is the promise.

  • LUTHERS ERRORS HAVE ETERNAL CONSEQUENCES Luke Haskell

Luther’s errors have probably taken a lot of people to hell. I know it is a tuff thing to say but if you follow this blog to the end, you may begin to understand. His errors have separated people from the normative process of transforming grace. God gave us tools to rise above our fallen nature, Luther reversed the process. God established the true faith to assist our fallen nature, after 1500 years of truth man in order to separate from the Catholic Church began to create an alternate construct of Christianity, in fallen nature. What is created by man in order to replace what was created by God, will always have very dangerous consequences. We are not called to faith alone. Luther took credit for creating this so obviously he did not see it in the historical record before him. In living obedience to the faith of the New Covenant, we are called to a religion and ritual that God put in place through an agonizing death on the cross. We are called to a focus on what is holy. Why? Because God knows what our fallen nature needs for transforming grace much better than we do. Everything that God does for us is to return our souls to the state of being they were in while they were in the Garden of Eden before the fall. Before ego entered the world. Therefore part of returning to the garden is a practice of humility. " This IS my body. "Be holy for I am holy." We do this through a focus on what he has given us, which is holy. In not properly defining Jewish law, Luther created generations that despise works and even separated people from the religion and ritual of the New Covenant God established that is all across the New Testament. Think about this. In a diabolical deception a false understanding of justification separated people from being Bible believing Christians. There is no belief without obedience. The only works Paul put down was the law of works. This was the boast of the “ Pharisees who believed “. ( Acts 15:5) It was the law of works which is the ceremonial law of Moses and keeping circumcision which is fulfilled in baptism. 16Let no man therefore judge you in meat or in drink or in respect of a festival day or of the new moon or of the sabbaths, 17Which are a shadow of things to come: but the body is of Christ. Col 2:16 So Satan has people denying this in order to separate them from the fullness of the Christian faith Jesus established. All of Christianity in order to live the new covenant, is called to obedience to the faith in the religion and ritual of the new covenant until Christ comes again. For as often as you shall eat this bread, and drink the chalice, you shall shew the death of the Lord, until he come. 1 Cor 11:26 How do you truly call yourself a Christian while you are accepting some things in scripture according to how you want to understand them and ignoring others completely? The works that Paul called the boast of the Pharisees who believed, was understood in the early church to be known as the second legislation. Catholics do not believe in a works based salvation we believe in a transforming grace based salvation but Protestants become confused by not seeing the second legislation in scripture. The second legislation of mosaic law is the curse of the law given for worshipping the golden calf. This is literally the law of WORKS. It is the curse of the law that has been nailed to the cross. This is the law that Christ paid the debt for by going to the cross. He took on the Jews curse who swore on their lives to keep the law. The debt had nothing to do with once saved always saved. It has to do with giving the Jews entrance into the promise of Abraham. Christ going to the cross paid the debt for the curse of the law the law of WORKS. We find reference to the second legislation in the Didascalia written or added to, around 230 A.D. Many of the ancient documents are hard to date because of additions written at a latter dates. “Him they denied and said : We have no God to go before us; and they made them a molten calf and worshipped it [Ex 32.1, 8] and sacrificed to a graven image. Therefore, the Lord was angry; and in His hot anger -- (yet) with the mercy of His goodness -- He bound them with the Second Legislation, and laid heavy burdens upon them, and a hard yoke (p. 109) upon their neck. And He says now no longer: If thou shalt make [cf. Ex 20.24-25; Dt 27.5-6], as formerly; but He said: 'Make an altar, and sacrifice continually' as though He had need of these things. Wherefore He laid upon them continual burnt offerings with a necessity, and caused them to abstain from meats by means of distinctions of meats. For from that time were animals discerned, and clean and unclean flesh; from that time were separations, and purifications, and baptisms, and sprinklings; from that time were sacrifices, and offerings, and tables; from that time were burnt offerings, and oblations, and shewbread, and the offering up of sacrifices, and firstlings, and redemptions, and he-goats for sin, and vows, and many other things marvellous. For because of manifold sins there were laid upon them customs unspeakable; but by none of them did they abide, but they again provoked the Lord… For the Second Legislation was imposed for the making of the calf and for idolatry. But you through baptism have been set free from idolatry, and from the Second Legislation, which was (imposed) on account of idols, For in the Gospel (p. 110) He  renewed and fulfilled and affirmed the Law; but the Second Legislation He did away and abolished.[1] The gospel “affirmed” the law of unconditional love, and released the Jews from the second legislation through the cross by way of baptism into the body of Christ. The marriage between man and God begins with baptism which is being saved by the blood of the Lamb. I will espouse you to me forever. I will espouse you to me in justice. He who has the bride is the bridegroom. When Paul put down works it was the second legislation of mosaic law only. Paul does not put down works of charity, works of commandments, works of religion and rituals in the church, this is crazy thinking. The cup of benediction that we bless, is this not participation in the blood of Christ? What is the answer to this rhetorical question from the church of the baptism living the religion and ritual of the New Covenant? Of course they are going to respond that it is the blood of Christ after the blessing. This is the Christian faith. We are more responsible for the true nature of the commandments now than the Jews were who had the law on stone for hearts of stone, because through the cross, they have been raised to their heavenly reality and have been written on our hearts. Heaven and earth will pass away but my law never will. I will write my laws on their hearts. This is grace given freely as opposed to mosaic law of rule, fear, and temporal punishment for Jews only. The law on stone has been raised to the law of faith which is to covenant with God. This is my blood of the New Covenant, do this… What is the obedience of the faith Paul calls us to? It is living the narrow road of the New Covenant. Where is then thy boasting? It is excluded. By what law? Of works? ( The second legislation of mosaic law, the curse of the law given for worshipping the golden calf is literally the law of WORKS. ) No, but by the law of faith. Rm 3:27 For we account a man to be justified by faith, without the works of the law. ( Rm 3:28) Faith as in transforming grace/ law as in the second legislation no Gentiles were ever under. 19For whereas I was free as to all, I made myself the servant of all, that I might gain the more. 20And I became to the Jews, a Jew, that I might gain the Jews: 21To them that are under the law, as if I were under the law, (whereas myself was not under the law,) that I might gain them that were under the law. To them that were without the law, as if I were without the law, (whereas I was not without the law of God, but was in the law of Christ 1 Cor 9:19 The law of Christ is the law of faith. It is living the narrow road of transforming grace in the religion and ritual of the new covenant. The apostles were Jews who never understood faith outside of a covenant relationship with God. Obedience to the faith. Who was predestinated the Son of God in power, according to the spirit of sanctification, by the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ from the dead: 5By whom we have received grace and apostleship for obedience to the faith, in all nations, for his name Rm 1:4 For when the Gentiles, who have not the law, do by nature those things that are of the law; these having not the law are a law to themselves: 15Who shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience bearing witness to them, Rm 2:14 Laws on stone raised to holiness of conscience 21You have heard that it was said to them of old: Thou shalt not kill. And whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment. 22But I say to you, that whosoever is angry with his brother, shall be in danger of the judgment. Law of conscience 27You have heard that it was said to them of old: Thou shalt not commit adultery. 28But I say to you, that whosoever shall look on a woman to lust after her, hath already committed adultery with her in his heart. Law of conscience 4Charity is patient, is kind: charity envieth not, dealeth not perversely; is not puffed up; 5Is not ambitious, seeketh not her own, is not provoked to anger, thinketh no evil; 6Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth with the truth; 7Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Law of conscience Be holy for I am Holy. Be perfect for your Heavenly Father is perfect. Christianity must be inside the law of faith in transforming grace or you are not living as a Christian. And we all, who with unveiled faces ( This is my body. O you foolish Galatians who before your very eyes Christ is portrayed as crucified before you ) contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. ( 2 Cor 3:18) Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.( Rm 12:22) And to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness. ( Eph 4:24) Do you not know that you are the body of Christ ? But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. ( Mosaic) ( 2 Thess 3:5) For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God ( 1 Cor 1:18)

  • DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT FAITH MEANS? Luke Haskell

The Etymology Of Faith The apostles were Jews who never understood belief outside of obedience to the faith in a covenant relationship with God. It is truly fascinating to see how the understanding of faith has changed over time along with the actual definition of the word. When I first discovered this it was like a light turned on in my brain. The entire New Testament came alive. I first saw this while I was reading Bernard L. Marthaler’s book called The Creed. From the beginning of Christianity the words, “to believe” meant to “hold dear, to commit to, to beloved.” The German equivalent is the word “belieben” which means “give allegiance to.” To have faith in God is to give allegiance to God and live in every word. “Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God” Faith also includes a core meaning from the indo-European root “bhidh”. From bhidh we get the source of two words, bide and abide which carries the association of something that is solid, something that is a binding together of two things. The Latin “fide” the Greek “pistis” and the English faith at its older root form, all have this same origin and form. Faith is to firmly bind yourself to something. This also refers to trustworthiness in a covenant relationship. We bind belief with a covenant life in obedience to the faith.   A covenant relationship is an allegiance but much more. “This IS my body.” “This IS my blood”.  Man and woman become one flesh. “I will espouse you to me in justice, I will espouse you to me forever.” I am yours and you are mine. The word covenant comes from the ancient Semitic word " Berit " which is much more than a contract. It means I am yours and you are mine. We see this in Gods relationship to the Jewish people when He said, " you will be my people and I will be your God." A covenant bond often included a sharing of blood and a covenant meal. God in the flesh, came to a covenant meal and said, " this is my blood of the New Covenant, do this in memory of me. We see another example of the sharing of blood when Paul said, " The cup of benediction that we bless is this not participation in the blood of Christ.?" There is no true covenant established with out a true sharing of blood. “Etymologically, “believe” is related to a broad range of familiar words, some archaic, like life (dear, willing), some still in use, like “beloved,” and “love”. (Marthaler The Creed ) “The idea of commitment, it should be noted, is also at the root memory of the original Latin. Etymologically, credo, it seems, is a compound of two other Latin words, cor, cordis, “heart” (as in the English derivatives “cordial, “concord”, and “accord”) …The primary meaning of credo in classical Latin was to “entrust”, to commit”. IBID Commit to, or, to covenant in. “This is my blood of the New Covenant, DO THIS.’ The Catholic Creed is an expression of faith that is lived in the heart, “cordis”. The covenant life in the sacraments in obedience to the faith is what God established for our fallen nature. When scripture is looked at through a true image of faith (This IS my body) including proper exegesis combined with the image of the historical church, you will find that there is not one word in scripture that goes against the Catholic faith. Let me repeat this. This is a fact. You will find that there is not one word in scripture that goes against the Catholic faith.  The church is the flesh of Christ perpetuated through time by the sacraments. “Saul, why do you persecute me?’ You cannot live in the fullness of the New Covenant of the correction God gave us without belief in the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist. The Holy Mass, is the New Covenant Passover for the general redemption of the world. When James stated to the Jewish converts Thou believe in one God, the devil also believes…faith without works is dead. He is telling us that even if you have the Shema the Jewish creed and law, ( Hear O Israel Our God is one.) your faith must be expressed through grace given freely of love and commitment. Love is the fulfilment the law and there is no true love of God without living in truth as it is exposed to the soul through grace. Love of God is fulfilled by living His covenant of faith. Obedience to the faith is the purest way of expressing love of God. With this understanding we can develop a better image of John 3:16. John 3:16 is a summation of belief. It is obedience to the faith in the New Covenant. To not believe is disobedience/ apiethe. To not live in the mosaic law was disobedience why would you think it would be any different in the New Covenant? Here are a few Greek dictionary entries for this word apeithe? "from two of the most scholarly and reputable reference works on the Greek of the New Testament. 36.23 apeithe? unwillingness or refusal to comply with the demands of some authority—‘to disobey, disobedience.’ ‘whoever disobeys the Son will never have life’ (literally ‘… will never see life’) Jn 3:36. ‘God’s wrath comes upon those who do not obey him’ Eph 5:6. (Johannes P. Louw and Eugene Albert Nida, Greek-English Lexicon of the New Testament: Based on Semantic Domains (New York: United Bible Societies, 1996), 467–468.) ***************************************** apeithe?.  This word means “to be disobedient” and is a significant term in the LXX (Greek Old Testament) for disobedience to God. In the NT it is used of the wilderness generation in Heb. 3:18, that of the flood in 1 Pet. 3:20, all sinners in Rom. 2:8, and Gentiles in Heb. 11:31. Rom. ( Steve Ray Catholicconvert.com) This is belief. This is John 3:16 lived. If they do not listen to even the church treat them as heathens and publicans. If they hear you they hear me if they reject you then they reject me and the one who sent me. That the manifold wisdom of God may be made known to the principalities and powers in heavenly places through the church. 13And after they had held their peace, James answered, saying, Men and brethren, hearken unto me: 14Simeon hath declared ( decree, dogma) how God at the first did visit the Gentiles, to take out of them a people for his name. 15And to this agree the words of the prophets; as it is written, 16After this I will return, and will (((build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; )))and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up: 17That the residue of men might seek after the Lord, and all the Gentiles, upon whom my name is called, saith the Lord, who doeth all these things. Believe is to live in obedience to the faith in the New Covenant in Gods one church, the reestablished Kingdom of David. Everything that God does for us is to reverse what happened to us in the Garden of Eden. From disobedience to obedience. Obey your prelates who have the rule over you for they watch over your souls. From ego to humility in belief because Gods words are true not because we understand them. My flesh is true food. True belief,? living the narrow road of the sacramental life in obedience to the faith in love of Christ, is the process of transforming grace to return to the garden. ( 2 Cor 3:18) Diabolical faith alone , scripture alone, once saved always saved, born again without baptism… Are made by man in fallen nature; they reverse the process of spiritually returning to the garden . Luther said Satan hated the Holy Mass and the communion of Saints and loved his new doctrine of faith alone. Luther obviously believed he did not see the concept of faith alone in history before him. So what is obedience to the faith if the apostolic church was living the narrow road of transforming grace of the religion and ritual of the New Covenant with Bishops, priests, and deacons? Who was predestinated the Son of God in power, according to the spirit of sanctification, by the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ from the dead: 5By whom we have received grace and apostleship for obedience to the faith, in all nations, for his name Rm 1:4 This is a great part of obedience to the faith. Religion And they were persevering in the doctrine of the apostles, and in the communication of the breaking of bread, and in prayers Acts 2:42 I therefore, a prisoner in the Lord, beseech you that you walk worthy of the vocation in which you are called, 2With all humility and mildness, with patience, supporting one another in charity. 3Careful to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. 4One body and one Spirit; as you are called in one hope of your calling. 5One Lord, one faith, one baptism. 6One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in us all. Eph 4:1 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no schisms among you; but that you be perfect in the same mind, and in the same judgment. 1 Cor 1:10 Now I praise you because you remember me in everything, and hold firmly to the traditions, just as I delivered them to you. 1 Cor 11:2 For this cause I left thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting, and shouldest ordain priests in every city, as I also appointed thee: Titus 1:5 Let the priests that rule well, be esteemed worthy of double honour: especially they who labour in the word and doctrine 1 Tim 5:17 But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth. 1 Tim 3:15 That the manifold wisdom of God may be made known to the principalities and powers in heavenly places through the church, Eph 3:10 And if he will not hear them: tell the church. And if he will not hear the church, let him be to thee as the heathen and publican. My 18:18 Ritual Is any man sick among you? Let him bring in the priests of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. 15And the prayer of faith shall save the sick man: and the Lord shall raise him up: and if he be in sins, they shall be forgiven him. Jm 5:14 Going therefore, teach ye all nations; baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit . Mt 28:19 And taking bread, he gave thanks, and brake; and gave to them, saying: This is my body, which is given for you. Do this for a commemoration of me. Lk 22:19 The chalice of benediction, which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ ? And the bread, which we break, is it not the partaking of the body of the Lord ? 1 Cor 10:16 Behold Israel according to the flesh: are not they, that eat of the sacrifices, partakers of the altar ? 1 Cor 10:18 We have an altar, whereof they have no power to eat who serve the tabernacle. Heb 13:10 For as often as you shall eat this bread, and drink the chalice, you shall shew the death of the Lord, until he come 1 Cor 11:26 Be you also as living stones built up, a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 2:5 That I should be the minister of Christ Jesus among the Gentiles: sanctifying the gospel of God, that the oblation of the Gentiles may be made acceptable and sanctified in the Holy Ghost. Rm 15:16 LET a man so account of us as of the ministers of Christ, and the dispensers of the mysteries of God. 1 Cor 4:1 No religion and ritual? Nonsense This is my body. Obedience to the word.

  • The 4 Persons podcast is the fastest growing Christian show on Blogtalk Radio

GROWTH IS ACTUALLY FASTER THAN OUR MOST OPTIMISTIC PROJECTIONS! In the category of Religion/Christianity on Blogtalk Radio, there are literally hundreds of well established shows that we are in competition with in the rankings. The members of our team have believed from day 1 that hard work and perseverance would lead to a climb in the rankings. That climb has been much faster than anticipated and we couldn't be more happy. In the ever-updated listing of most popular shows, T4P hit a Top 25/Page 2 ranking in it's first week. That makes us the fastest growing Christian podcast on the platform by a wide margin. Our 7th show, on our 7th day, placed as the 24th most popular Christian show of the week. With the lack of time and exposure, that is really a stunning achievement. 7 shows in and we come in at #24. To put that in perspective, the show that placed #20 (also founded by me, but now run by apostates) was founded in 2009 and has had over 2,600 episodes. It's placement can be explained by duration and reputation alone, while our meteoric rise can only be attributed to the superior quality of our product, for which I owe great gratitude to our team. Thank you to our friends, promoters, our team and to God. To Him be all the Glory!

  • PROPHECY FULFILLED IN CHRIST AND HIS CHURCHLuke Haskell

There was a priest and a rabbi. Don’t worry, you don’t have to sensor this. They were having a conversation about their faiths. The rabbi went first. Our faith was established by the One G-d, Who told us there shall be no other gods before me. He came to us as His particular people. Through Moses he taught us how He formed the earth and told us about our ancestors that came before us. He established our ancestor lineage through Abraham, Issac, and Jacob and gave us the law and we established covenants with Him. Through Abraham he made us a great nation that was first ruled by the elders and priests ordained by God, then as he grew our people through the  Judges and then as a great nation through our Kings beginning with David. In the Torah was the law we live by. He told us to build a central place of worship where He would meet us beginning in the desert with the meeting tent and later in His temple. He prescribed ways that we should honor him through our cleansing and sacrifices and feast days. He gave us our commandments through which He stabilized our society through His divine wisdom under spiritual rule. Our people fell into bondage and later the diaspora after the destruction of the temple. Our prophets told us about a messiah who would come and free our people from its bondage and we look to our messiah to come. It is your Jesus  who said “ Salvation is from the Jews.” The priest after listening to the Rabbi, began to explain His faith. I will always be grateful for you and the Jewish people for you are our ancestors. The Catholic Church was born from the lineage of David in Christ Jesus and born out of the Synagogue which in the liturgy of the word, the apostles incorporated this  into the Holy Mass which is the true Passover for the general redemption of the world. It is composed of the liturgy of the word and the liturgy of the Eucharist which you know means “ thanksgiving “ like your sacrifices of thanksgiving. You see, Paul who studied under your great Rabbi Gamaliel, was given a vision of heaven and the spiritual realities of the fulfillment of your covenants with God which is fulfilled in the true Passover for the general redemption of the world celebrated with heaven which your meeting tent expresses. This he begins to teach in His letters yet this was so sacred that the deepest understanding was kept in the heart of the church. It also would have created a great scandal between Jews and Gentiles in apostolic times if Jews who were not like the Bereans, prepared through humility, were told these most sacred truths. Therefore Paul says, “ If our gospel be veiled it is veiled from those who are perishing.” It was veiled from those outside the church who were not celebrating the true Passover in the breaking of the bread. David proclaimed in your Psalms, God your God has anointed you. Jesus who came down to us from the lineage of David through Mary was anointed before His death on the cross establishing His reign. It was written on the cross that He was the King of the Jews and this is still true. One of our Church Fathers, Justin Martyr explained that At Jamnia Jews removed books of your ancestors and changed words. Words including where it is prophesied that a Virgin shall give birth to Emanuel to, a young woman would give birth. This is tragic in itself. But in the process, many books were removed for Protestants at this time. Listen to your King David who told you about the anointed God when he said: "Fullfilled are all that David sang in true song, saying unto the nations that God had reigned from the tree." Psalms 96:10 Image in your soul the story of the building of your temple and the penalty for the one who destroys the temple Ezra tells you 3In the first year of Cyrus the king: Cyrus the king decreed, that the house of God should be built, which is in Jerusalem, in the place where they may offer sacrifices, and that they lay the foundations that may support the height of threescore cubits, and the breadth of threescore cubits, 4Three rows of unpolished stones, and so rows of new timber: and the charges shall be given out of the king's house. And I have made a decree: That if any whosoever, shall alter this commandment, a beam be taken from his house, and set up, and he be nailed upon it, and his house be confiscated Ezra 6 Jesus took on the curse of the oath your people swore on their own lives to keep. “ No greater love than a man has then to give us His life for another.” He did this as fully God and fully man. Your people failed in the law but the promise of Abraham that Abraham’s descendants would be as numerous as the stars still needed to be kept. God keeps His promises. The Kingdom that you saw as lost was build up and restored through the cross. Paul before the destruction of the temple said , “By calling this covenant “new,” he has made the first one obsolete; and what is obsolete and outdated will soon disappear. “( Hb 8:13) Your temple was destroyed in 70 AD and Jesus the Christ took on your curse so that through baptism, the tree of life, you could be cleansed and enter the true reality of the Kingdom that came through the Jews; a sacramental Kingdom fulfilled. Your prophet Jeremiah told you that David shall never lack a man to sit on the throne of the earthly House of Israel. Your prophet Daniel prophesies a 5th kingdom that will never be destroyed. And it will not be made by hands. Either this is a false prophecy, or the earthly kingdom also requires succession. If it is not made by hands then it is sacramental. It is united to heaven itself or it would not last forever. In your book of Isaiah Shebna has an  office in the kingdom of David. You know that in order for it to be an office, it has successors. In order for an earthly kingdom to last, a succession of representatives is also required. This was the case of the Old Covenant kingdom of David , and it is the case in the New Covenant kingdom. Your people described Eliakim as being a father of God's people. In the New Covenant kingdom we also describe the ambassador of Christ in this office as father from which we establish the word papa, pope. This office in the reestablished kingdom was established by Christ in the line of David as he made the Kingdom sacramental through baptism and to secure the Kingdom through all generations, passing on the authority of the Kingdom while the King is away through  His first vicar in Peter. This is done in order for the true Passover to last until the end of time therefore Paul tells us. For as often as you shall eat this bread and drink this cup, you will show the death of the Lord until He comes again. Peter would never have been given the keys of authority which was previously used by your people as a symbol of authoritative interpretation of the Torah, unless he was fulfilling the prophecy of Daniel reestablishing the Kingdom of David as the 5th kingdom made by God not man. It is the Christ. “ God your God had anointed you.” That established this kingdom. James at the council of Jerusalem saw the prophecy of Amos fulfilled when he explained that the Kingdom of David with both Jews and Gentiles had been reestablished in Gods church. Your prophet Amos told you that there would be a time when Gentiles would hear the word of God and enter the church. Paul told us that we are no longer Gentiles or Jews freeman or slaves because we have been baptized into Christ Jesus, the promise of Abraham fulfilled. Remember that I said that even though your people failed in the law, through the cross,  Jesus took on your curse. Also, through the blood, water, and spirit of baptism, God raised up the church of both Gentiles and Jews through the spiritual reality of what Issac represents. As Paul tells us: “6Not as though the word of God hath miscarried. For all are not Israelites that are of Israel. 7Neither are all they that are the seed of Abraham, children: but in Isaac shall thy seed be called. 8That is to say, not they that are the children of the flesh are the children of God: but they that are the children of the promise are accounted for the seed.” Rm 9:6 It is through the cleansing power of baptism that we are born again into the family of God. The children of God are called to obedience to the faith in the final covenant with man. The messiah told us, I did not come to abolish the law but to fulfill the law. You are of course right that Salvation is from the Jews and written spiritually in your laws, written to our very souls, is how your laws are fulfilled in Christ. In order to be freed from Egypt which is a symbol of sin, you were told to kill an unblemished Lamb ( Jesus told us He is the true Lamb of God. The true manna bread from heaven that sustained your ancestors for 40 years in the desert before you crossed the Jordan in your baptism into the land flowing with milk and honey. In the spiritual reality, the flesh of Christ nourished by the sacraments as helps to holiness and obedience and humility against our fallen nature.). You were told to spread the blood of the Lamb on the Lintel and door posts signifying the triune God. We see the spiritual reality in our baptism where Jesus told us to “ go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name ( singular) of the Father, ( Lintel ) and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.  ( Door posts).  The blood shows you the spiritual reality of what occurs to the soul at baptism. It shows you the mystery of your red heifer fulfilled where the true ashes of the ( wood) cross mixed with water and scarlet cleans the soul of both Gentiles and Jews. You were told to consume the entire Lamb and in doing these things the angel of death would Passover your homes. Jesus who told you to do these things, came to a Passover with 12 representatives of your people 1300 years later and said, “ I strongly desire to celebrate this Passover with you.” What magnificent majesty. What wonder! He told us that this is the blood of the New Covenant, the final covenant with man, and that in memory of this covenant his priests should do the same. You understand that memory in Greek is Anamnesis, and that this is not simply a memory in modern terms but a call to a presentation in perpetuity as your  Passover, Todah, and Tamid sacrifices were . Todah and Tamid being a sacrifice of thanksgiving ( Eucharistasis) In Leviticus 24:7 we read: And thou shalt put upon them the dearest frankincense, that the bread may be for a memorial of the oblation of the Lord. The bread your priests sanctified, set apart for God as an offering for the Lord. In numbers 10:10 we read If at any time you shall have a banquet, end on your festival days, and on the first days of your months, you shall sound the trumpets over the holocausts, and the sacrifices of peace offerings, that they may be to you for a remembrance of your God. I am the Lord your God. In your Seder feast through divine Providence you have a hidden piece of Matzah. Jesus used this piece of Matzah in the new Eucharist of His body glorified; the thanksgiving for the cross in the true memorial of the oblation of the Lord. He did this   when He raised the Matzah into the air and called it his body. That Matzah understood as that which comes last, in the Greek, the word that is used is Afikomen. A word translated as "the coming one." That Afikomen fulfilled in the body of Christ that Paul referred to when He said, “ Christ our true pasch ( Passover Lamb) has been sacrificed, let us keep the feast. That Afikomen that Paul referred to when He said. “Behold Israel according to the flesh, are not those who offer the sacrifice partakers of the altar?” “That Afikomen Paul referred to when he said, “ We have an altar at which those who serve the tabernacle have no right to eat of.” That Afikomen, that coming one Paul referred to when He said, “ For as often as you shall eat this bread and drink this cup you will show the death of the Lord (((until He comes again.)))" The coming one; our life and our hope. You prayed for this hope everyday in your benedictions. As Christ took on your curse on the cross, Israel,  not even understanding what God did, was praying the 18 benedictions. My God my God why have you forsaken me. All they that saw me have laughed me to scorn: they have spoken with the lips, and wagged the head. For many dogs have encompassed me: the council of the malignant hath besieged me. They have dug my hands and feet. They have numbered all my bones. And they have looked and stared upon me. They parted my garments amongst them; and upon my vesture they cast lots. I am poured out like water; and all my bones are scattered. My heart is become like wax melting in the midst of my bowels. I will declare thy name to my brethren: in the midst of the church will I praise thee. With thee is my praise in a great church: I will pay my vows in the sight of them that fear him. For the kingdom is the Lord's; and he shall have dominion over the nations. There shall be declared to the Lord a generation to come: and the heavens shall shew forth his justice to a people that shall be born, which the Lord hath made. You prayed "Look upon our affliction and plead our cause, and redeem us speedily for your name's sake, for you are a mighty redeemer. Blessed are you, O Lord, the redeemer of Israel." (7th Benediction) You prayed "Forgive us, O our Father, for we have sinned; pardon us, O our King, for we have transgressed; for you pardon and forgive. Blessed are you, O Lord, who is merciful and always ready to forgive." (6th Benediction) You prayed "Speedily cause the offspring of your servant David to flourish, and let him be exalted by your saving power, for we wait all day long for your salvation. Blessed are you, O Lord, who causes salvation to flourish." (15th Benediction) You prayed for the resurrection of the dead at the time of Christs death when the curtain in the temple was torn from heaven to earth and the dead were raised. "You, O Lord, are mighty forever, you revive the dead, you have the power to save. You sustain the living with lovingkindness, you revive the dead with great mercy, you support the falling, heal the sick, set free the bound and keep faith with those who sleep in the dust... Who resembles you, a king who puts to death and restores to life, and causes salvation to flourish? And you are certain to revive the dead. Blessed are you, O Lord, who revives the dead." (2nd Benediction) What the cross put in place in the spiritual reality includes the fulfillment of your meeting tent where the outside walls made of coarse animal hair is fulfilled in the baptism of repentance for you Jews. This is what John who wore camel's hair called you to while your messiah walked the earth in the flesh among you. The bronze laver that your Levitical priests needed to wash in “ less perhaps they died “. Is fulfilled in baptism into the flesh of Christ. Paul in Titus 3:5 tells us that we are not saved by our own justices but by the laver of regeneration and renovation of the Holy Spirit. This is baptism, being saved by the blood of the Lamb. The fulfillment of the Ref Heifer. David cried out. I was born in iniquity in my mothers womb. Job cried out, who can make unclean seed clean, only thou. Only the Christ. We are not saved from original sin through anything that we can do of our own but through the true laver of regeneration of baptism which is grace given freely. After your priests washed in the bronze laver then they were prepared to sacrifice or enter the veil. Your veil by God's design is fulfilled in the mystical reality of entering the glorified flesh of Christ through the marriage feast of the Lamb. " You are not of the world, if you were of the world the world would know it's own." 19Having therefore, brethren, a confidence in the entering into the holies by the blood of Christ: 20A new and living way which he hath dedicated for us through the veil, that is to say, his flesh: 21And a high priest over the house of God: 22Let us draw near with a true heart, in fulness of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with clean water. Hb 10:19 The cross was a marriage bed between God and His Gentile bride which your prophets also told you would happen. 19And I will espouse thee to me for ever: and I will espouse thee to me in justice, and judgment, and in mercy, and in commiserations. 20And I will espouse thee to me in faith: and thou shalt know that I am the Lord…23And I will sow her unto me in the earth, and I will have mercy on her that was without mercy. And I will say to that which was not my people: Thou art my people: and they shall say: Thou art my God. Hosea 2 And Paul showed you this marriage of God and His church through the image of covenant which you know means much more than a contract in the semitic word “ Berit”, but it means I am yours and you are mine. A covenant that you know includes a sharing of blood in a blood bond and a meal before God, therefore Paul tells us. The chalice of benediction, which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ ? And the bread, which we break, is it not the partaking of the body of the Lord ? 1 Cor 10:16 Which consummated the marriage. 25Husbands, love your wives, as Christ also loved the church and delivered himself up for it: 26That he might sanctify it, cleansing it by the (((laver of water in the word of life: )) [ Baptize in the NAME?] 27That he might present it to himself, a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. 28So also ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. 29For no man ever hated his own flesh, but nourisheth and cherisheth it, as also Christ doth the church: 30Because we are members of him, body, of his flesh and of his bones. 31For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother: and shall cleave to his wife. And they shall be two in one flesh. 32This is a great sacrament: but I speak in Christ and in the church. Ephesians 5 It is finished/ the marriage is consummated. I will go and prepare a place for you. In the spiritual reality of the body of Christ the holies has become the church militant on earth and the holy of holies has become the heavenly realm. The veil is torn from heaven to earth at every Holy Mass and the holy and holy of holies becomes one room. Heaven and earth unites in laud of the Trinity. The bread of the presence and the libation offering that your high priests brought out before the people, raised into the air and proclaimed before the people, “ behold, Gods love for you “, has become the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist. This is my body. Behold Gods love for you. The smoke of the incense in the tent is now the prayers of the saints rising before the throne of the Father for the sins of the world and the Menorah has become the life giving cross. Therefore in the Anamnesis Paul says. O you foolish Galatians, who before your very eyes Christ is portrayed as crucified before you. We preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block, to the Gentiles foolishness. The people of God are the chosen people, the holy nation, the Royal Priesthood, Jews and Gentiles that with the hosts of heaven through our mediator and true high priest Melchizedek offers with the hosts of heaven in the 5th kingdom the true Passover for the general redemption of the world. Therefore Paul gives us the beatific vision of this heavenly reality when he tells us. 18For you are not come to a mountain that might be touched and a burning fire and a whirlwind and darkness and storm, 19And the sound of a trumpet and the voice of words, which they that had excused themselves, that the word might not be spoken to them. 20For they did not endure that which was said: and if so much as a beast shall touch the mount, it shall be stoned. 21And so terrible was that which was seen, Moses said: I am frighted, and tremble. 22But you are come to mount Sion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to the company of many thousands of angels, 23And to the church of the firstborn who are written in the heavens, and to God the judge of all, and to the spirits of the just made perfect, 24And to Jesus the mediator of the new testament, and to the sprinkling of blood which speaketh better than that of Abel. 25See that you refuse him not that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spoke upon earth, much more shall not we that turn away from him that speaketh to us from heaven. 26Whose voice then moved the earth; but now he promiseth, saying: Yet once more: and I will move, not only the earth, but heaven also. 27And in that he saith: Yet once more, he signifieth the translation of the moveable things as made, that those things may remain which are immoveable. 28Therefore, receiving an immoveable kingdom, we have grace: whereby let us serve, pleasing God, with fear and reverence. 29For our God is a consuming fire. Yes salvation is from the Jews. Thank you. You were told by your prophets that there would be a time where the law would be written on our hearts. This prophecy fulfilled is grace given freely as opposed to your law of the letter in rule fear and temporal punishment. Through the law of conscience and the narrow road of the sacramental life is our process of returning to the Garden; transforming grace. And yet God in divine mercy has also established invincible ignorance which is becoming more and more rare in our world of the internet. He who knows what is right and refuses to do so for him this is sin. The wages of sin is death. The rabbi sat and thought about what had been told to him by this priest of apostolic succession of the reestablished Kingdom of David for a while. He then responded. So why did you tell me? There is only assurance on the narrow road of obedience to the faith in the sacramental life. On both sides of the road is Satan’s deceptions waiting to devour anyone he can. Luke Haskell

  • Why Be Protestants?

Israel Zolli the chief rabbi of Rome during WWII who converted to the Catholic Faith through much study and a vision of Christ, was asked, " why did you not join one of the other sects of Protestantism? " to which he replied, ""Because protesting is not attesting. I do not intend to embarrass anyone by asking: 'Why wait 1,500 years to protest?' The Catholic Church was recognized by the whole Christian world as the true Church of God for 15 consecutive centuries. No man can halt at the end of those 1,500 years and say that the Catholic Church is not the Church of Christ without embarrassing himself seriously. I can accept only that Church which was preached to all creatures by my own forefathers, the Twelve who, like me, issued from the synagogue.” I do not understand the reasoning for being Protestant. If the reasoning for being protestant is because the original church went astray and protestantism is returning to the true roots of the Christian church, then why doesn't protestantism look anything like the first and second century church? It is not that the disciples of the apostles and their disciples would have had slight differences in understanding from modern Protestantism, it's that, it is not even close. Modern protestantism looks like a completely different faith. If protestants are trying to return to the original church then why do they not use the thousands of documents the early church wrote in defense against heresy in order to defend their faith? Documents that were written hundreds of years before the Catholic Church put the Bible together? Protestantism cannot prove that it has returned to the true roots, it can only trace its roots to an understanding of scripture developed during the reformation. A concept of scripture called Sola Fide and Sola Scriptura that is easily proven false when proper hermeneutics are applied to scripture. This process has caused a tragic entropy of thousands of denominations that will continue to divide ad nauseam while Jesus prayed that we should all be one. 2000 years ago, God established His one church in which his covenant was to be lived in obedience to the faith, as helps against our fallen nature. 1400 years later, man established scripture alone and faith alone, while in fallen nature. The tragedy of division was inevitable. There is only one church founded by God and all others are founded by man. There is no where in scripture where man is given the right to form a different church or a different doctrine. The disciples taught the exact opposite of faith alone and scripture alone and this is proven by those who were taught by the apostles teaching the exact opposite. What is not taken into consideration is that those who are raised in the protestant tradition see scripture according to the environment they were raised in or if they are fallen away Catholics never studied scripture from a Catholic perspective. Of course to a point protestants can say the same thing about Catholics but there is a major problem with attempting this. The environment and understanding that Catholics have goes uninterrupted back 2000 years to the same generation as the apostles. You can try to say that what I say is not true and that the Catholic Church was started by Constantine but this would be another false protestant tradition of anti Catholicism. To give just one example; the belief in the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist was present throughout the church spread across the east and west back to the first century. If Constantine created the Catholic Church then what was the name of the church that taught the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist since the beginning of Christianity? When you examine the geographical map of the early Christian world you will see that countries went from paganism to Catholicism. There were no countries going from paganism to Protestantism. It did not exist. The Didache which teaches multiple forms of baptism and that the Holy Mass was a sacrifice, was present 30 years before the death of John the apostle. This can be seen as the proto-catechism of the universal church. The church fathers defended the true interpretation of scripture from the faith taught directly by the apostles, over 300 years before the Bible was put together in its final form. I cannot over emphasize this, if protestantism was true then why can't protestants use the church fathers to defend their faith? This is the Elephant in the room that has to be ignored. Paul told Timothy, " what I have taught you pass on the other worthy men who will in turn teach others."We have documents from those who the apostles believed to be worthy and they were defending the same Catholic faith the Catholic Church lives by today. Ignatius, Polycarp, and Clement were actually in the same generation as Timothy. They are in the generation taught by the apostles that is supposed to pass on what the church was taught to other worthy men so that they could teach others. So by the generation after Timothy we see the same doctrine that Timothy, Ignatius, Polycarp, and Clement taught and much more details as truth is defended against heresy. They obviously trusted Ignatius, Polycarp and Timothy because they made them bishops of God's church. Timothy was bishop of Ephesus, Polycarp was bishop of Smyrna, Ignatius was bishop of Antioch, Clement was bishop of Rome and according to Tertullian, Clement was ordained by Peter. Of course Titus was bishop of Crete. Teachings of the Apostles Syriac And by ordination to the priesthood, which the apostles themselves had received from our Lord, did their Gospel wing its way rapidly into the four quarters of the world. Irenaeus of Lyons Book 4 ch 8.3 (120-180 ad) And all the apostles of the Lord are priests, who do inherit here neither lands nor houses, but serve God and the altar continually. It is also illogical to ignore these Fathers or think that what they taught was not true because when you do you enter into a position of dishonesty and build your foundation on sand. Willful ignorance is very dangerous to the soul. Name someone involved who was responsible for preserving scripture, telling us which books were authentic and which were not, or who was involved in putting together the Bible who did not live by the Catholic faith? Augustine was arguing for the inclusion of Hebrews and Revelations in his day so obviously the issue still needed to be settled then. Can you find anyone living your image of faith from the end of the Biblical age until the 14th century? For Protestants, the honest answer is no. " Father I pray that they may be one as you and I are one so that the world may know that you have sent me." Tragic. In the manuscripts from the council of Carthage we see why the Bible was put together in the first place. It was put together by the Catholic Church so that an authoritative canon, which means rule, can be present and read in church in unity with the universal church spread throughout the world. It was put together by divine providence for the Catholic Holy Mass." By divine providence, you have a Bible because God established the Holy Mass. The early martyrs went to their deaths professing salvation through Christ, their baptism as salvation from original sin, redemption, justification, sealing...defending the Eucharist, and the priests under the penalty of torture refused to stop celebrating the Holy Mass, the true Passover for the general redemption of the world. • A big exclusive breaking story coming regarding the false, demonic "apparitions" of Medjugorje.

We have known for some time that the Medjugorje apparitions are false and diabolical. Such prominent Catholic clergy as Father Shannon Collins and the late Cardinal Andreas Gemma, Chief Vatican exorcist have made this perfectly clear. Even the controversial Ruini report admits Mary is not appearing there and that the visionaries are liars, money grubbers and actors. We will be breaking an exclusive story within the next week that proves one of the central Medjugorje promoters, creator of one of it's biggest websites, knows it's a fraud. Stay tuned.
