Though I am certainly no fan of the College Football commission, the caterwauling from people like Nick Saban and Lane Kiffin about the unfair treatment of the SEC has hit a 10 on the boo hoo Richter scale. The assumption continues that the SEC is entitled to all things in all places at all times doesn't square with the results.
True, SMU got blown out by Penn State and Indiana got throttled by Notre Dame. Fair enough. Let's just be consistent here.
If we are to argue, retroactively, that Indiana and SMU didn't belong because they got smoked, what are we to say about the teams that supposedly got jobbed?
Case in point, 3 loss Alabama.
Tennessee not only beat Alabama, they beat both of the other teams that beat Alabama.
Tennesse got smoked. Roasted. Humiliated.
Meanwhile, Texas had difficulty putting away a 3-loss Clemson team.
The SEC stands for Schools eating crow. The National championship will be between Notre Dame and a Big 10 school. Enough of the SUC. They had their shot.
