Trying to regain the incredible momentum from the trips fully understanding the audacious claims.

A few weeks later, it's still difficult to process the places I went and the things I saw but I was really hoping to seize the momentum and run with it. That goal hit a minor speedbump because Illness forced me to miss Mass on 2 consecutive weekends. Valid reason, no sin, of course but it knocked me off my stride, nonetheless.
I was very pleased to be able to make Mass today, and I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to really regain the momentum in the next couple of weeks.
On October 29th, I will complete the Saint Bridget prayers. This will actually be my 3rd time completing them but never before has that included saying some of them in Florida, Portugal, Spain and France. I actually began the last month in Lourdes. How cool is that?
On Saturday, November 1st, I will complete Saturday #2 of the Five first Saturdays devotion, to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, given to us at Fatima. I have completed this devotion 3 times before. However, this time, the first of the first Saturdays was completed at the magnificent Cathedral of Notre Dame in Chartrese, France- a Cathedral that was built in the 12th and 13th centuries and holds a veil actually worn by the Mother of Jesus while she was pregnant with Him! Nothing like starting a Devotion to Our Lady in front of something she actually wore while she carried the Savior! I should complete this devotion in February.
As if those 2 things are not incredible enough, the 3rd one really takes the cake. For while the first Saturdays devotional dates back to 1917 and Fatima, the First nine Fridays devotional, to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, goes all the way back to the 1600s and the appearance of Jesus Himself, to a nun named Margaret Mary Alacoque.
Going to Mass on the First Friday of nine consecutive months is what this devotion requires, and it can be difficult for someone with a full-time job. I was actually blessed to be able to complete it- for a second time- on September 5th of this year.
Then came my opportunity to actually attend Mass in the actual church of the apparitions. You get this? The actual place where Jesus appeared to Saint Margaret Mary. The date was October 3rd, the first Friday of the month. I am not about to let this opportunity go to waste, so I intend to go to Mass on November 7th. This will be my 11th consecutive First Friday and the 2nd of 9 in the current sequence. God willing, I can keep it going and complete it in June.
God willing, I can maintain the momentum until later in the year and then travel to the Holy Land!
Pray for my success.
For any non-Catholic brothers and sisters reading this, let it never be imagined that I do not fully appreciate the stunning audacity of what is being claimed here. I really do.
The Bible states (2 Timothy 3:5) that a type of so-called believer will arise who makes a pretense of faith while denying it's power. Don't be that guy. Anyone who tells you that heaven is sleeping or the conduit of the miraculous is turned off is not to be listened to.
On the other hand, I fully understand that we can't just be claiming Jesus' blood is in this host or Mother Mary talked to these kids without some serious evidence to back those claims up.
That's what makes this stuff so exciting. We got truckloads of evidence. Historical evidence, testimony, eyewitness accounts, medical evidence, scientific evidence, DNA evidence.... We got mountains and mountains of jaw dropping, unassailable evidence that's all out there in the public realm. If you are open to actually being convinced, you are a couple of google searches away from the mother lode.
Let me just give you a couple of resources for starters.
These are just the tip of the iceberg!
