The last 11 months have been emotionally overwhelming and spirtually nourishing as I continue to plunge into the deep mysteries of our faith, Joyful, Sorrowful, Glorious and Luminous, just like the Rosary. Let's do a quick review and then discuss what remains.
August 2025
Parkland, Ft. Lauderdale and Miami, Florida.
I had to make this connection to the place where this horrible tragedy occurred. Part of the journey of finding God is seeking Him in the darkest moments. RIP to Gina and all the others.

Portugal
Lisbon, birthplace of Saint Anthony of Padua
Fatima, site of the miracle of the Sun
Santarem, Eucharistic miracle and an encounter with Saint Carlo Acutis

Spain
Avila, Albe De Tormes, Salamanca, Burgos, Loyola.
Saint Theresa of Avila, Saint John of the Cross, Saint Ignatius of Loyola

France
Lourdes, Toulose, Rocamadour, Paray Le Monial, Lisieux, Nevers, Paris
Our Lady of Lourdes, Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, Saint Amadour (Zaccheus), Our Lady of Rocamadour, Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque, Saint Therese of Lisieux, Saint Thomas Aquinas, Saint Dominick, Saint Catherine Laboure, Saint Louis De Merrilac, Saint Vincent De Paul.

Wisconsin, Indiana and Illinois.
Our Lady of champion, Servant of God Adele Brise, Christ the redeemer, Therese of Lisieux
Shanksville, Pittsburgh, Strongsville
Saint Anthony chapel in Pittsburgh with thousands of relics of saints, United 93 Memorial, site of "the crash".

Vermont, Montreal, Rhode Island, Maine
Saint Alban, Cathedral of Notre Dame, Saint Joseph Oratory, Saint Andre Bessette, Saint Therese of Lisieux shrine, Saint Anthony Monastery.

These trips have helped me so much but there is more to come.
Return to Wisconsin.
I will return to the Shrine of Our Lady of champion. It will be the only approved Marian Apparition site I will have visited twice. Afterwords, we watch Notre Dame open it's season vs Wisconsin, at the historic stadium of the Green Bay Packers. Notre Dame could very well be ranked #1
Dallas, Texas
It's a bucket list item I just need to see. Having been named after John F Kennedy and understanding how he tried to warn us, I have to visit Dealy Plaza and see where his life was taken. Texas will be the 23rd state I have visited out of 50.

Denver, Colorado
Ok. this is just a layover, but it still lets me check off a ''states visited'' box. #24
New Mexico becomes #26 as I visit 2 sacred sites.
El Santuario De Chimayo has been called the Lourdes of America because of the many miracles associated with it and the miraculous Loretto chapel that has the staircase built by Saint Joseph!
El Paso, Texas. Definitely a plane to catch, maybe a hotel stay too. The Texas box will have already been checked off but this is on the opposite side, hundreds of miles away from Dallas. I will catch Mass if time permits.
Mexico
This will become my 6th country that I have been in.
