Simple and easy are two very different things

The attraction of Therese and her ''little way'' is that it is simple. That is, it is easy to understand, not mired down in complexity or intricacy. A simple layman can understand it.
Easy?
That's another question altogether.
I could say ''pick up that building and move it over there''. My instructions are simple but certainly not easy. Too many of us have looked at this diminutive, little nun who referred to herself as no more than a ''little flower'' and imagine that God gave her an easy, little path to heaven.
I am being cured of that misconception big-time

This book is hitting me like a ton of bricks, and I am seeing more and more that this was a warrior for God with more courage than a lion.
