RIP Sarah Beckstrom

Farragut West is a station on the Washington DC area metro line. It serves the Silver, Blue and Orange lines. As fate would have it, I was traveling the Orange line on Wednesday at the time of the shooting and if I wasn't at Farragut West, I was close. I get out at Metro Center, 2 stops later.

I posted an article just yesterday pointing out the difficulty of thankfulness to God when things go badly. There isn't much worse than losing a 20-year-old family member on Thanksgiving Day due to senseless violence.
