My visit to Nevers. Overwhelming doesn't even begin to describe it

These 2 images are of a statue on the grounds of the Nevers convent that Bernadette used to love to pray before. It came to be known as "Our Lady of the Waters" and she said it reminded her more of the actual vision of Our Lady than any other statue she ever saw.

This is the structure she first encountered when entering the grounds for her new life.

A couple of shots of crossing the river.

The room where she told her story to the other sisters.

The room she died in.

This plaque marks the exact place where she died on April 16th, 1879

Bernadette miraculously preserved still in October of 2025. 146 years after her death.
Scoffers can just shut up.
