I just love rosaries

My collection of rosaries has grown to 48. I have blues, greens, blacks, whites, golds, reds, multicolored....

Many of them I bought on a whim because I loved the way they look. Some of them hold deep sentimental value because they are rosaries I have had for a long time and they connect me with family members that are gone. Some are from incredible and miraculous places and some have been to those places.

  • Bethlehem, where our savior was born.

  • Parkland & Fort Lauderdale, Florida where I connected to a horrible tragedy.

  • Fatima, Portugal where Our Lady appeared in 1917

  • Santarem, Portugal, site of a Eucharistic miracle

  • Lourdes, France, where Our Lady appeared in 1854

  • Rue De Bac, Paris, France where Our Lady appeared in 1830.

  • Champion, Wisconsin where Our Lady appeared in 1859.

  • Paray Le monial, France where Our Lord gave Margaret Mary alacoque the Sacred Heart Devotion.

  • Avila and Loyola, Spain, Lisieux, France, Lisbon, Portugal, home of revered saints.

Each rosary is special in it's own way and I have decided to rotate through them every day. I put 12 each on 4 hooks. Each Monday and Saturday, I will pray a rosary from the first hook (Joyful mysteries). Tuesday and Friday for hook 2 (Sorrowful), Wednesday and Sunday for hook 3 (Glorious) and Hook 4 on Thursdays (Luminous).

By my calculation, I will pray each Rosary at least once about every 3 months. Devotional habits like this can be really helpful and a commitment to the daily rosary is never a bad idea.
