Happy New year- let's talk resolutions

As I type this, it is literally only a handful of minutes into the new year and the boom from the fireworks is shaking the walls.
Obviously, I have personal goals and ambitions for the year, some specific, some general.
The big one for me is the trip to the holy land. I continue to read about how roughly Christian pilgrims are treated there and how so-called American conservatives, like the vile Mark Levin, Ted Cruz and Ben Shapiro verbally assault anyone who even mentions it. I don't care. I will continue to oppose Zionism and support the true Israel which is the Catholic church.
As much as I am enthralled at visiting the Holy Land, that will not be my only destination this year, for sure. Later this month, I plan to visit the Shrine of Our Lady of Champion in Wisconsin.
This will be my 5th miraculous Marian site after visiting Fatima, Loudes, Rocamadour and Rue De Bac in 2025. Anyone who thinks I am insane to go to Wisconsin in January? I don't disagree but it's probably my only opening.
I am also planning to visit;
Dallas, Texas to see the site of the JFK Assassination
Loretto, New Mexico to see the miraculous staircase of Saint Joseph.
Personal goals;
Read at least 25 books
Lose at least 25 pounds
Eat healthier, walk more
Do more creative projects with T4P.
More than anything, I seek to grow in humility and obedience, to learn to suffer well and complain less and go to bed each night never taking for granted that I will rise in the morning.
In 2026, I truly seek, by God's Grace, to learn to love my enemies and pray for them. I fully admit that this is a hard, hard task.
God bless everyone. Happy New year!
