Another Rosary that is important for where I got it. A Rosary a day- #33

This simple white Rosary was purchased at a place I will never forgot. Rocamadour, literally ''rock of the one who loved'' is named for the legendary "Saint Amadour" who was found buried on the rock on the side of a mountain in this very spot.

Tle legend holds that ''Saint Amadour'' was really none other than Saint Zacchaeus (Luke 19:1-10) and that his wife was the very Veronica who famously wiped the face of Jesus on His way of the Cross. Inside the chapel of this venerable mountain shrine is the miraculous image know as ''the black Madonna of Rocamadour''. Black from the soot of years and years of candles lit before the shrine.
