"A Shower of Roses" was impressive. On to "Stronger than Steel"

A shower of Roses was a very good summary of some of the greatest miracles that ever occurred due to the intercession of Saint Therese of Lisieux. It is a very good read to have some idea of the impact this saint has had on lives. The book does not read as a long, cohesive story but rather of a collection of miracles summarized in short form and delivered back-to-back.

It only adds to the wonder and mystery of this nun who died in agony and obscurity in 1897 only to rocket to prominence as the most significant saint of our modern time. In 1897, very few people knew who she was. In less than 30 years, she was canonized a saint and called the greatest saint of our time. She would be declared a doctor of the church and her autobiography- story of a soul- would sell 500 million copies.

She taught us how to get to heaven by the little way and now she is a giant.

While A shower of Roses was a cross section of all types of miracles to all types of people, Stronger than steel focuses on miracles of WWI. I start it today and will keep you posted.
