A day of renewal in our Nation's capitol

5 days a week, I go to work in Washington DC, driving past the Lincoln Memorial, White House and the Washington Monument. To be honest, the more I learn about America's true history and power structure, the less blindly patriotic I am.
The Masonic influence in the founding of America is as clear as the back of a dollar bill and the unholy Masonic-Israeli-American alliance screams "New world order" and "Antichrist". Occult and Masonic symbology is very evident in the capital city and it surrounds from the obelisk, which is the monument, to the Pentagon.

There were many of the ''founding followers'' who were Deists at best, Atheists at worst.
However, Catholic culture and history certainly can be found in DC if you know where to look. Yesterday, I revisited 2 of the gems in NE DC that are pretty close to each other.

The Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception is a place you can spend the whole day at and not see everything. Mass in the Great Upper Church is as awe inspiring as anything you will ever experience.

You could spend hours just admiring the artwork and mosaics on the ceilings and walls. Yesterday, we didn't get to dedicate nearly enough time to that but I was able to attend 9:00 AM Mass and get this picture of Christ, our Omnipotent Judge.
Within the confines of this- the largest Catholic shrine in North America- are tributes to Mary under many titles. Quite a few of them correspond to her miraculous appearances throughout the world.
Our Lady of Hope, Pontmain, France

Though my 3-country tour last fall had some 10 destinations in France, Pontmain wasn't one them even though we got within about 2 hours of it.
Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, Paris
I saw this one.

The Franciscan Monastery is a tribute to other shrines around the world as they are preserved today. The replicas are to scale!

This was a very edifying tour, helping me prepare to go to the Holy Land.
